When a camera is fixed

  1. Images can only be seen from one angle.
  2. Fixed positions always produce a dead angle.
  3. Continual surveillance is difficult because someone has to move the camera to follow an image, or add to overhead expenses by installing multiple cameras.

In the case that the camera can move

  1. Images of various angles can be seen.
  2. Dead angles are eliminated.
  3. Continual surveillance is possible.

As a result, the following applications become possible:

Example 1: Airports, Trade-shows, Museums, Hotels, Shopping Malls, and other Large Public Places

  • For large public areas, monitoring one individual or one specific location becomes as easy as a walk-through. Installation at exhibition halls can add to booth traffic planning or add to commercial promotion. Hotel lobbies, shopping malls, and other heavy traffic areas can be made safer with the ability to follow and focus on potential trouble, allowing the prevention of dangerous situations.

Example 2: Retail, C-Stores, Department Stores, Banks

  • In commercial buildings, movable cameras make theft and employee dishonesty prevention easier by eliminating dead angles. Suspicious individuals can be followed without them being aware. Multiple view angles allow the same camera to keep an eye on the register and cash management office as well as potential shoplifters. All done remotely, via the internet, from anywhere in the world.

Example 3: Manufacturing; OEM, Global Outsourcing, Production Control, Risk Management

  • With more and more global outsourcing, remote OEM production and private label manufacturing, trends indicate that industrial production will cease to have a national identity. Managing such far-flung operations trades cost for accessibility, as production and line management must travel and e-mail more frequently to monitor change-outs, provide feedback, or manage quality control. The rail camera allows line monitoring of gsoft-spots.h or areas where human interface with the line is not easily monitored, from anywhere in the world. This will translate to a reduction in travel costs and wasted management hours.

As shown above, DENARO International developed the movable camera system because of its practical value and translated cost and efficiency savings to our customers.
